Open carry, police encounters, gun-free zones, and more

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago that the daily briefings would look a little different, and here’s the new look. Instead of a daily briefing with various bits of awesomeness, we have the Blogging for Michigan Weekday Briefing, with various bits of audio awesomeness. These will come out Monday through Friday and we’ll do our best to bring you quality content each day.

This first podcast is a roundtable discussion with Nancy English, Ann Gamboe Hall, Pam Drake, and me. We talked about this video and the implications of what happened here:

Fair warning: It’s amateur hour, and I didn’t get the audio volume normalized properly between the video audio and the discussion audio. As a result the transition is terrible, especially after the first video clip. Sorry about that, but I promise to get better.
