Some pretty horrific events occurred this week on the west side of our beautiful state. A few families have been irreparably shattered. I cannot imagine the shock and pain of those who knew and loved them. My heart goes out to them.
Murder is never pretty. Knowing the face of your killer is the father of your (grand)child is horrifying. Being held hostage in your own home is life altering. Someone deliberately shooting at you while driving down the road is terrifying.
I truly have no words to say on this.
May the gods have mercy on ALL of their souls.
I am a writer, a student, a teacher, a philosopher, a parent, a child. All of these components have been essential in creating the woman writing to you today.
Everyone has a purpose in life, be it huge or minor. We all have a role to play. Mine is to help others along the way, regardless of the Path they are called to follow. My students come to me of their own will, adapt my teachings to their own experiences and move on when they are ready. To my thoughts, this is exactly as it should be.
